Dying Light 2 Gets A Release Date Plus A New Name
/ Carlos HernandezDying Light 2, now officially called Dying Light 2 Stay Human, gets a new gameplay trailer that gives us a fresh new look at the open-world zombie infested FPS game which is now set to release on December 7, 2021 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The new trailer is a detailed presentation of the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human as the parkour mechanics the series is known for seems to be intact and more fluid compared to the first game. The day and night cycle is still an important element in Dying Light 2 as it’s dangerous to roam at night as the zombies are more aggressive and unique creatures roam the streets.
Here’s a quick synopsis of the game according to developers Techland:
“Players will take control of Aiden Cauldwell, a survivor trying to piece together his past. Three factions are vying for power over the scraps of civilization. Aiden can work for or against each of these factions to help shape your story. But at night all three factions are at the mercy of the zombies."

It’s easy to describe Animal Well as a puzzle-focused Metroidvania eschewing traditional combat, where nearly every room is a puzzle room, but that falls so far short of describing just what this game is and how expertly it defies genre and classification that it feels like a disservice.
