June 2025 PS Plus Game Catalog Adds FBC Firebreak, Eiyuden Chronicle, Battlefield 2042 & More
/What’s New in PS Plus This June 2025
Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for June 2025, with nine titles arriving on the service starting June 17. This month’s update includes a Day One release and another Battlefield title, perhaps part of EA’s strategy to rekindle interest ahead of the next mainline game, which is currently in development as we had older titles added to the service a couple of month prior.
The highlight this month is FBC: Firebreak, a new Day One release and a 3-player first-person shooter set in the same universe as Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake and Control. You play as one of the Bureau's agents, responding to strange, reality-bending threats triggered by the events in Control. The game promises a mix of supernatural elements and tactical co-op action with situations very on-brand for Remedy’s expanding universe.
Another notable addition is Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, often referred to as the spiritual successor to the Suikoden series. Created by series veteran Yoshitaka Murayama, the game was successfully crowdfunded and completed before his passing, though he didn’t make the game’s official release. While it may not hit the same highs as Suikoden II, fans of classic turn-based RPGs will likely appreciate its nostalgic systems and ensemble cast.

Despite some lingering quirks, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is a solid reintroduction to one of the most influential RPGs of its era. Virtuos and Bethesda have delivered a remaster that respects the original while adding just enough polish to make it worth playing in 2025.
