Techland is not done with their 2022 open-world zombie game Dying Light 2 Stay Human, as they’ve updated the game’s 2023 roadmap showing what to expect from the game for the rest of this year and early 2024. Features such as cross-save, the ability to repair your weapons, new weapon types, new co-op missions, events, and more were mentioned.

Techland, the studio best known for the Dying Light series, announced that the Chinese technology giant Tencent will soon be the majority shareholder of the studio. Once it’s final, Techland will still have full ownership of its IPs as well as creative freedom moving forward.

Techland announced that they are bringing back the Left 4 Dead 2 crossover event to the first Dying Light game, which rewards players with unique weapons for completing a specific personal goal during the event. Techland also teased the upcoming Halloween event for Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

Techland announced that Dying Light 2 Stay Human is currently hosting a free event called Bloody Summer, and those that participate will receive in-game cosmetic rewards. The special event will last from now until July 7.

Techland just recently updated Dying Light 2 Stay Human with a free story DLC titled ‘In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner’. This is chapter 1 of a series of free DLC story content planned for the open world game.

Techland has announced that their open world zombie game Dying Light 2 Stay Human will feature Booster Events running for four weeks, and the first one features double XP for both combat and parkour actions.

Techland’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human launched last week and has been a smashing hit so far, but it didn’t release without it’s fair share of bugs and issues that have become a pain for some players. A few hotfixes have been deployed but the developers have given us a heads up on what fixes are ready and what are being worked on.

Dying Light 2 releases next week and Techland has provided a roadmap of what kind of content you can expect after the game launches on February 4, and it looks like the first batch of free content will be factions-inspired DLCs.

Techland can’t seem to contain themselves when promoting their open world zombie game Dying Light 2 as they now announced through social media that the game has 40,000 lines of dialogue, or more specifically, 350,000 words.

We are getting closer to the release of Techland’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human this February as the developers will host their final episode of their streaming series “Dying 2 Know” this week on January 13 at 3 PM ET.
