Left 4 Dead 2 Crossover Event Returns To Dying Light

Techland announced that they are bringing back the Left 4 Dead 2 crossover event to the first Dying Light game, which rewards players with unique weapons for completing a specific personal goal during the event.

Players who kill 50 Virals or clear selected quarantine zones will be given a Gnome Chompski, Golf Club, Frying Pan, and an Electric Guitar for all your efforts.

As a community though, if all players manage to kill 40 million Virals from now to November 1 collectively, players that participated will earn blueprints for the Gnome Chompski, Gold Club, Frying Pan, and Electric Guitar weapons.

Awesome, but what about Dying Light 2?

It’s a fun little addition, especially for the Halloween season, but it’s as expected to have the first game receive the same seasonal content as Techland is focused on delivering their own spin to celebrate Halloween this year in Dying Light 2 as they tease what’s to come for the open world game in the coming days.

We do remember those guys as the tweet is teasing what looks like a new iteration of their halloween event that occurred in the first game back in 2019, where a bunch of infected are roaming the open world with Halloween themed headgear such as having a pumpkin head.

We’ll see what Techland has in store for their community but I wouldn’t be surprised to see some cosmetics to be earned during the event.
