Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla had the biggest launch ever for the series as it was able to sell the most units during it’s launch week. It is also considered as having the biggest PC launch of all Ubisoft titles to date.
“We are truly delighted by the enthusiastic response from players and want to thank the fans for their incredible support. Delivering this game amid a global pandemic was a true tour de force by our teams and it’s fantastic to see players enjoying the game so much. Launch is only the beginning and we have robust content plans for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that will keep players immersed in their epic Viking saga for a long time to come.” says Assassin’s Creed Valhalla producer Julien Laferriere in a press release.
Ubisoft also shared some fun in-game stats regarding Valhalla since it’s launch. Players have covered more than 4 million kilometers in the game and have built 55 million buildings in their settlements. There have been 3.5 million games of Orlog (dice game) won by players and 1.8 million players have won at least one drinking competition against a character.
