The 2023 Grammy Awards now has a new category called “Best Score Soundtrack For Video Games/Interactive media”, and this year Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok won the Grammy in this category. But before Composer Stephanie Economou went up to receive the reward for her work, the presenter Randy Rainbow mispronounced the word ‘Valhalla’. 

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be a tad bigger with the release of the next expansion Siege of Paris as it’s set to release on August 12. This piece of content features the return of Infiltration Missions, a new story arc that has you travelling through the Frankish countryside, new set of weapons, abilities, gear, and skills to give more options in crafting your version of Eivor.

Ubisoft will be one of the first companies to go live with their next Ubisoft Forward event during E3 2021. All of these elements make Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, whether you love it or hate it, make a complete open-world RPG package. Like any large vessel with multiple shipwrights, some decisions and elements weigh the game down, but I would go as far as considering this one of the best Assassin’s Creed titles to come around in a long time.
