Assassin's Creed Valhalla's The Siege Of Paris Expansion Launches In August

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be a tad bigger with the release of the next expansion Siege of Paris as it’s set to release on August 12. This piece of content features the return of Infiltration Missions, a new story arc that has you travelling through the Frankish countryside, new set of weapons, abilities, gear, and skills to give more options in crafting your version of Eivor.

The Siege of Paris expansion will cost you PHP 900 ($18.49) separately or free if you currently own the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Pass, which also comes with the first expansion titled the ‘Wrath of the Druids‘, which came out back in May.

A new season is also coming and it’s called the Sigrblot Season, a free update that brings the Sigrblot Festival, which starts on July 29 and will run until August 19. It’s a free update that will add new activities to such as a Flyting, Fight Tournament, Dice mini-games, and three new quests. This update also adds the one-handed sword Skrofnung, which can only be acquired during the festival using Sigrblot tokens for a limited time before the festival ends.

New players will have to spend a bit more time with the main game first as the Sigrblot Festival will only be available once Eivor and his clan reaches England and you’ve completed the story arc of either Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire. You also need your settlement to be at level 2 to enjoy the festivities.

It’s crazy to see Ubisoft not done supporting Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as Siege of Paris is the second expansion for probably one of the longest games in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. If you just started Valhalla, you’re in for a ride as it takes over 50 hours to just go through the main storyline. What more if you wander around, which you naturally do in an open world game.
