Assassin's Creed: Valhalla Out This November, Gameplay Deep Dive Released
/ Carlos HernandezUbisoft’s first-ever digital showcase called Ubisoft Forwarded concluded over the weekend and highlighted the company’s biggest titles coming out this year and early 2021. They ended the presentation by officially revealing Far Cry 6 but treated viewers in the post-show with a 30-minute deep dive look at Valhalla’s gameplay.
The video highlights the changes to the gameplay and the many activities you get to do as either a female or male version of the protagonist Eivor. We also get to see the game’s inventory system, how progression works this time, and the variety of weapons aimed to provide different play styles in Valhalla.
We even get to see different boss fights, dialogue choices, consequences of those choices, fishing, boat battles, building settlements, and of course chasing collectibles that try to get away from you.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the series’ 12th main title since it started in 2007 and is the third game with the franchise’s new direction of implementing more RPG elements together with a revised combat system.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available on November 17, 2020 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Valhalla will also be available on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 when these consoles are available and those who bought the game on either the Xbox One or PS4 version of the game will be given a free upgrade to the next-gen version for free.
Ubisoft announced that they had canceled the upcoming free-to-play online shooter The Division Heartland in their latest financial report. Instead of further developing the game, the company has decided to allocate resources to its other free-to-play title XDefiant that’s releasing in a few weeks, and Rainbow Six.
Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed that 13 games will enter PlayStation Plus’ Game and Classics Catalog for May 2024.
Ubisoft has revealed the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and it’s called Assassin’s Creed Shadows, a mainline entry set in Feudal Japan with two protagonists — a towering Samurai called Yasuke, and a ninja Naoe. Pre-orders and editions was also revealed for the game.

Publisher Deal Villagers and developer Exalted Studio announced a new Beat ‘Em up action adventure game called Big Helmet Heroes. A demo is planned and they are aiming for a 2024 release.
Ubisoft teased that they will reveal the next entry in the Assassin’s Creed series on May 15. Formerly known as Project RED, this Assassin’s Creed game is set in Japan and is officially called Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. Season pass and DLC details is said to be revealed as well.
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that Gundam Breaker 4 will be launching on August 29, 2024, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Bandai Also detailed the pre-order bonus and the different editions available, including the Collector’s Edition.

It’s easy to describe Animal Well as a puzzle-focused Metroidvania eschewing traditional combat, where nearly every room is a puzzle room, but that falls so far short of describing just what this game is and how expertly it defies genre and classification that it feels like a disservice. Animal Well is a paragon of the art form, a game that simply must be experienced.
