No Rest for the Wicked Delayed to March 2027

Developer Moon Studios has delayed the 1.0 release of its action RPG No Rest for the Wicked to March 2027. The game was previously scheduled to leave Early Access in October 2026.

“We are not quite there yet,” said Thomas Mahler, game director for No Rest for the Wicked, while addressing the delay in the video shown above. The team wants to spend more time polishing the game an make sure the 1.0 release launches with as few issues as possible as they are currently in a mad dash to get all the systems and content ready for the full launch.

More Open Betas Planned for 2026

The delay doesn’t mean players will have to wait until 2027 for new content. Moon Studios is planning additional open betas throughout the rest of 2026, giving the community more opportunities to play upcoming content and builds to help shape the final 1.0 release.

The next open beta is planned sometime in December 2026.

For those looking to purchase the game on Steam before it’s release, anyone who picks up the game before January 1, 2027 will receive the game’s Founders pack, which contains the Sayer’s Vow skin, the Spirit Cavern hideout, a Founder’s Badge, and public beta test access.

The 1.0 version of No Rest of the Wicked will be available on PC, PS5. The Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 version is planned at a later date.
