All Confirmed Battlefield 6 Maps in the Open Beta

Siege of Cairo

Urban warfare in central Cairo. Expect close-quarters combat between infantry and tanks through tight alleys and multi-story buildings.

Liberation Peak

Set in the mountains of Tajikistan, this map features sprawling rocky terrain ideal for vehicle warfare and high-altitude ambushes.

Iberian Offensive

Battle across Gibraltar’s dense city layout with narrow alleyways, destructible environments, and heavy vehicle presence.

Empire State

An infantry-only map based in Brooklyn, New York. Fight across rooftops, alleys, and the city’s iconic streets in intense, close-quarters engagements.

Battlefield 6 Game Modes Explained

Here’s a breakdown from EA of every game mode featured in the open beta:

Conquest

Battlefield’s signature mode. Teams fight to capture and control multiple objectives. Holding more points reduces enemy reinforcements over time.

Closed Weapons Breakthrough

A variation of Breakthrough with class-locked weapons. Attackers push forward through defensive lines to capture sectors while defenders aim to hold ground and drain lives.

Breakthrough

Objective-based mode where attackers and defenders battle over control points. Strategy and coordination are key in this focused, high-intensity format.

Rush

Attackers must plant explosives on M-COM stations while defenders attempt to stop them. Once objectives are destroyed, the fight moves to the next sector.

Squad Deathmatch

Four squads face off in tight, fast-paced combat. The first squad to reach the kill limit wins.

How to Access the Battlefield 6 Open Beta

EA Play Pro subscribers and players who registered for Battlefield Labs before July 31 will receive early access starting August 7, giving them a two-day head start before Weekend 1.

Battlefield 6 is set for a full release on October 10 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
