Diablo 2 Resurrected Launches On September 23

Activision Blizzard has announced that Diablo 2 Resurrected, the remaster of arguably one of the best action RPGs, will launch on September 23 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Based on the recent footage of Diablo 2 Resurrected, it’s an impressive remaster that modernizes the action RPG without touching the game’s original content. It’s done in a way that the visual improvements was put on top of the original game as players can revert back to the original game’s graphics with a single press of a button.

This will also be the first time Diablo 2 will be available on consoles, and if ever you decide to play the game on multiple platforms, cross progression will be available at launch.

Diablo II: Resurrected will have a multiplayer open beta on all supporting platforms sometime in August, giving everyone a change to try five of the game’s seven classes- Amazon, Barbarian, Paladin Sorceress, and Druid, the class added through the Lord of Destruction expansion.

Activision Blizzard also announced the Diablo Prime Evil Collection that will be available on September 23. This package contains a copy of Diablo 2: resurrected plus The Diablo III Eternal Collection, which contains Diablo III, it’s Reaper of Souls expansion, and the Necromancer content pack.

Diablo 2 Resurrected’s latest appearance was during during Xbox Games Showcase during E3 2021 and reminded us that 8-player co-op can be a thing. Imagine the chaos.
