A Plague Tale: Requiem Announced During Xbox Games Showcase

During Xbox & Bethesda’s Games Showcase at E3 2021, developer Asobo Studio’s survival horror adventure game A Plague Tale: Innocence is getting a sequel called A Plague Tale: Requiem and is coming out sometime next year.

A Plague Tale: Innocence was a sleeper hit in 2019 as it revolves around Amicia and Hugo’s journey set in the 1300s where they must work together to survive swarms of disease-ridden rats while being pursued by the inquisition.

For the sequel, the journey continues but there’s not much details beyond the trailer and the obvious graphical improvement for Requiem. This isn’t an Xbox exclusive as A Plague Tale: Requiem will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It will also be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on day one.
