The early access for Blizzard’s action RPG Diablo IV is now live and sadly history seems to be repeating for a portion of the Diablo community as console players are experiencing licensing error codes the moment the servers went live.

Blizzard released a new video for their upcoming action RPG Diablo IV, focusing on the game’s lore as this game takes place 50 years after the events in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. 

The team working on Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 announced that they are no longer releasing the promised PvE Hero mode that was revealed when the sequel was announced in 2019. They are now going to divert all their efforts to the game’s live service and release story-based content in future seasons. 

Blizzard’s free-to-play multiplayer for Overwatch 2 is hosting a new event called Starwatch: Galactic Rescue from now until May 22, 2023, on all platforms. It features a unique game mode on the transformed Horizon Lunar Colony Assault map. 

Blizzard’s online card game Hearthstone was just updated with a new expansion that adds 145 new cards to the game and introduces two new keywords – Finale and a new Priest Class Keyword called Overheal. 

Blizzard is ramping up for Diablo IV’s biggest showing to the public this week as the Early Access beta begins this weekend. To get everyone ready, players who have early access can start pre-loading the beta version of the game as early as March 15. 

During IGN’s FanFest, Blizzard revealed that the upcoming action RPG Diablo 4 will have an Open Beta test from March 24 to 26. Those who’ve pre-ordered the game get early access to the test from March 17 to 19.

Blizzard announced that Hearthstone’s Return to Naxxramas mini-set is set to launch on February 14, adding 38 cards to the game. The set launches the same time patch 25.4 goes live, which contains the last big update for Mercenaries.

Blizzard is updating Overwatch 2 with a new game mode called Battle for Olympus, which will be available for all players starting now until January 19, 2023. The new free-for-allo mode features seven heroes having new abilities.

Blizzard announced that their next expansion for their free-to-play card game Hearthstone will be March of the Lich King, and it comes with the inclusion of the Death Knight class. This will be the last expansion for the year and will include 203 new cards.

Blizzard announced that the Halloween event for free-to-play online shooter Overwatch 2 is now live. The Halloween Terror event will run from today, October 25 until November 8. The event will feature Halloween-themed cosmetics that can be earned by playing or purchased.

It looks like Blizzard can’t catch a break, as besides of the various issues still plaguing the now free-to-play Overwatch 2, they now had to temporarily disable heroes Bastion and Torbjorn due to game breaking bugs affecting their ability kits.
