Indiana Jones and the Great Circle DLC Trailer Reveals Switch 2 Release Window

During the 2025 Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase, Bethesda unveiled a new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The trailer highlights fresh footage from the upcoming DLC, The Order of Giants, while also confirming that the globetrotting adventure is headed to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
The Order of the Giants DLC
For those unfamiliar, The Great Circle is getting story-driven DLC. The Order of Giants takes place during the events of the main game, where a young priest sends Indy on a new journey to recover a mysterious artifact. This quest leads him into the secrets of an ancient labyrinth, uncovering references to the Cloaca Maxima, the dark Cult of Mithras, and myths surrounding a mystical beast.
The DLC launches on September 5, 2025, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. Players who own the Premium Edition or Collector’s Edition of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will get access to The Order of Giants at no extra cost.
When is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle releasing on the Switch 2?
Bethesda confirmed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will release on the Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2026. No specific launch date was given during Gamescom, but the confirmation ensures that Switch 2 owners can look forward to experiencing Indy’s adventure in the near future, while the new trailer is a reminder for existing players that new content is on the way in the comin weeks.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle from MachineGames was a blast to play, but had some conflicting gameplay design choices that prevented me from truly appreciating what they’ve done with such an iconic character and franchise.
My time with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 made me realize how overdue we are for a brand-new entry. This is a franchise that doesn’t need to reinvent itself to stay relevant. Sometimes, being fun is enough, and this remake delivers just that.
