The Elder Scrolls Online: Feast of Shadows DLC and Update 47 Out Now on PC
/ZeniMax Online has released a new dungeon DLC pack for The Elder Scrolls Online called Feast of Shadows. The update is available now for players who own the 2025 Content Pass or the 2025 Premium Edition.
The DLC introduces two new dungeons: Black Gem Foundry and Naj Caldeesh. Both are four-player challenges that feature unique rewards for those who manage to conquer them.
The Elder Scrolls Online Update 47 – What’s New
Alongside the DLC comes Update 47, a free patch for all ESO players. This update adds several quality-of-life improvements, including the ability to ride mounts through water, a long-requested feature.
Other highlights include:
Stackable Survey reports for easier inventory management
The option to replay quest dialogue for players who want to revisit lore moments
Compass improvements for better navigation
Full patch notes for Update 47 can be found here.
As with previous releases, PC players get access first, while the console update is expected to arrive later.
Feast of Shadows follows the launch of the Season of the Worm Cult expansion back in June, which kicked off this year’s major expansion. Update 46 also rolled out earlier this year, introducing Subclassing, giving players more build flexibility and new ways to customize each class.
My time with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 made me realize how overdue we are for a brand-new entry. This is a franchise that doesn’t need to reinvent itself to stay relevant. Sometimes, being fun is enough, and this remake delivers just that.
