Check Out Black Myth: Wukong's Latest Trailer, Celebrating The Year Of The Ox
/ Carlos Hernandez
The indie action-RPG Black Myth: Wukong from Game Science has a new trailer to celebrate this year’s Chinese New Year, featuring bosses, spells, and never before seen areas of the game.
Again, it was released to celebrate the Chinese new year.. Developer Game Science makes it clear in the caption of the video that "This video is specially produced for celebrating the Year of the Ox, it does not represent actual plot.". Regardless, it gives us a new look at the game they are currently developing and it’s just as impressive as the first 13-minute gameplay trailer.
Black Myth: Wukong is based on the classic tale of Journey to the West and so far it looks like it mainly focuses on Sun Wukung, who is also known as the Monkey King. Beyond this, we don’t know more about the game in terms of it’s story.
The gameplay and the visuals of the first reveal trailer is what really turned heads and this new one is just as impressive as the trailer makes it seem that there will be a good amount of crazy boss battles or encounters in Black Myth: Wukong. It also featured various abilities available to the player such as transforming into various creatures, freezing enemies in their place, and it looks like parry will be a strong defensive option for the player.
It’s been 5 months since the game was announced and this new trailer is the latest piece of new footage since it’s debut. Hopefully this new trailer is the start of more coming from developer Game Science to give us a better idea of the game they are trying to complete. There is no release date given and Black Myth: Wukong will be available on PC and in consoles, which ones has yet to be announced.
