Helldivers 2 Launches on Xbox Series X|S This August

After the recent attack on Super Earth, it seems the Helldivers are in need of reinforcements, and they're looking to the Xbox front. PlayStation and Arrowhead Game Studios have announced that the 4-player co-op shooter Helldivers 2 is coming to Xbox Series X|S on August 26.
The Xbox version will support cross-play, allowing PlayStation, PC, and Xbox players to join forces when the game lands on Xbox consoles.
It’s wild to see Helldivers 2 in the Xbox store with PlayStation listed as the publisher. But honestly, it’s great news. This is a fantastic shooter that deserves to be experienced by everyone. Let’s just hope it doesn’t ask for a PSN login. That would definitely put the game back into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
There’s no difference in content, as the Xbox version will include the game’s most recent updates. We still need confirmation on whether previous Warbonds will be available for Xbox players at launch, but chances are they will be. If that’s the case, Xbox players have plenty of grinding ahead of them.
Helldivers 2 first launched on PS5 and PC in February 2024.
