Everybody Needs To See Black Myth: Wukong's Gameplay Trailer
/ Carlos Hernandez
An action RPG called Black Myth: Wukong is getting a lot of buzz lately thanks to a lengthy 13-minute gameplay trailer released a few days ago, showcasing a stellar look at what’s to come in this Monkey King-inspired adventure developed by Chinese independent studio Game Science.
There’s a lot to take in the gameplay trailer below. For one, it looked gorgeous from start to finish and features gameplay similar to games mechanics like Dark Souls or Nioh. There’s even stealth elements where you’ll need to transfer to a small creature in order to sneak past a few enemies. We even get a look at a boss fight as well as various shots of different locales and other terrifying enemies making it an intriguing title being developed at a triple A level.
Based on the FAQ found in Black Myth: Wukong’s official website, there’s no release date and Game Science will only “ship it only when we feel satisfied as players”. This is going to be a one-time purchase and DLC is a possibility in the future.
We’ll keep an eye on this one just like the rest of the internet as it’s rare to see a game looking like Black Myth from China as they are well known for free-to-play Call of Duty Mobile or Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Black Myth: Wukong is running Unreal Engine 4 and is planned for a PC and console release.
