Enshrouded Leaves Early Access in Autumn 2026, Console Version Confirmed

Developer Keen Games announced that their survival action RPG Enshrouded will leave Steam Early Access sometime in Autumn 2026. The news comes from the latest developer diary, which also outlines what players can expect this year through a 2026 roadmap.
Enshrouded 2026 Roadmap
Before its 1.0 release, Enshrouded will first receive a significant feature that lets players share what they’ve created with the wider community. This arrives in the 0.8 update, alongside various improvements, balancing changes, and bug fixes.
The 1.0 release also comes packed with upgrades aimed at smoothing out the new player experience, improving quest progression, boosting overall performance on both high-end and lower-end PC setups, refining combat, and introducing new locations filled with fresh enemies and challenges.
Enshrouded Coming To Consoles in 1.0
Finally, Enshrouded is also coming to consoles with version 1.0. Keen Games didn’t share details yet on cross-play or any console-specific limitations, only confirming that the console launch is lined up with the full release.
It’s been two years since Enshrouded launched in Steam Early Access, and the game has now passed 5 million players. It also holds a “Very Positive” rating based on over 43,000 user reviews. To celebrate, Keen Games is preparing another Twitch Drops campaign that rewards a new armor set, though the same set will also be obtainable in-game via a quest from the Huntress once it goes live.
Enshrouded is available in Early Access for PHP 899.
