Marvel Snap July 2025 Season: Fantastic Four First Steps – New Cards, Locations & Grand Arena

Developer Second Dinner has unveiled the next season of their online card game, Marvel Snap. Launching on June 8, 2025, at 7 PM UTC, the new season is a tie-in with the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps film. The cards releasing throughout July all revolve around a fresh iteration of the Fantastic Four, playing with the concept of the number four and introducing effects that trigger at the end of your turn.

Marvel Snap July 2025 Season – Fantastic Four First Steps

The season card for July is Mr. Fantastic: First Steps, which plays like a stronger version of Phastos. He can manipulate one of your cards each turn by either lowering its cost or increasing its power. If played on curve, this opens up a lot of strong possibilities heading into the final turns. We’ll see how he shapes the meta, though it’s unlikely to cause drastic shifts since it’s not introducing a completely new mechanic to Marvel Snap.

Here’s a breakdown of all the new cards arriving this season. As in previous seasons, a new Series 5 card will release that players can acquire using Tokens or by taking a chance in Snap Packs. This season also includes two cards that are locked behind a premium paywall, with the Fantasticar card available exclusively through a Super Premium bundle.

Rocket Pad

  • After turn 4, give 4 random cards here +2 Power.

New Game Mode – Grand Arena

This season features a new game mode called Grand Arena, a unique way to play Marvel Snap as players will have to choose a champion card that starts in their hand alongside a powerful skill card. You then use those cards along with any of the pre-built decks available for the game mode and start matching against other players who have done the same.

It’s a rather fun limited game mode and is the first time where players don’t get to build a deck to cater to the new game mode’s mechanics. Grand Arena is likely where you’ll get the new cards Mole Man or the Mad Thinker, though Second Dinner has not confirmed if it will be one or both.

The June 2025 season of Marvel Snap is much better in terms of interesting cards, as it was an interesting meta shift thanks to Merlin and the focus of skill cards being generated and affecting plays. It wasn’t all good, as the playerbase did experience one of the game’s worst implementations of a limited game mode, pointing out how expensive Marvel Snap really is in terms of money spent and time spent if a player aims to stay meta-relevant month after month.
