Marvel Snap June 2025 – All Cards, Locations & High Voltage Update

Developer Second Dinner has unveiled the next season of their online card battler, Marvel Snap. Launching on June 3, 2025, the new season, Masters of the Arcane, dives back into the mystic arts, introducing powerful new characters like Merlin and Dormammu.

Marvel Snap June 2025 Season – Masters of the Arcane

The season card for June is Merlin, a 2-Cost card that adds a random Incantation spell to your hand at the start of every turn. Similar to March’s Agamotto, Merlin offers flexible spell-based gameplay, but with the twist of granting one of three potential spells at the end of each turn, opening up creative options every round.

Here’s a breakdown of all the new cards arriving this season, which officially kicks off on June 3 at 7 PM UTC.

Marvel Snap June 2025 – New Locations

Camelot

  • After Turn 5, set all cards here to 5 Power.

Astral Plane

  • After this turn, add a 0-Power copy of a card from your hand here.

Merlin looks like a fun and potentially swingy season card. With one random Incantation added to your hand each turn, you'll have plenty of new plays to consider—but managing your energy curve becomes trickier, as each spell still costs 1 to play. Played on Turn 2, Merlin could provide five Incantations over the course of a match if left uninterrupted.

Dormammu might be the more impactful addition. His Summoning Ritual introduces a multi-step mechanic that rewards synergy with destroy decks, while offering a satisfying build-up toward the final turn. He could become the new go-to finisher for destroy decks.

After a lackluster May 2025 season, Masters of the Arcane is shaping up to be a far more exciting and possibly meta-shifting update.

High Voltage Returns – Now With Overdrive Mechanics

This season also brings back the High Voltage limited-time game mode, now with a twist: matches are now four turns, and eight cards in your deck are charged. If you manage to play five of those eight during the match, you’ll trigger Overdrive, which can include powerful or chaotic effects like:

  • Doubling On Reveal effects

  • Spawning multiple Chimichangas on each lane for each player

Second Dinner hasn’t confirmed what reward card will be tied to this version of High Voltage just yet, but the change in pacing and the Overdrive twist could breathe new life into the format.
