15 minutes of Killzone: Shadow Fall gameplay

Killzone-Shadow-Fall-5 OPM released a new gameplay video of Killzone: Shadow Fall, a PS4 exclusive showing a section of the game being approached differently. Have a look below.

I've always liked Killzone, and it's no doubt the game looks visually stunning. What's shown in the video isn't really the different ways to play the game, but more like the different paths that will be available to you, encouraging players to explore and think on how it's going to be played out.  A good addition, but nothing groundbreaking. That robot though is pretty neat.

Killzone: Shadow Fall will be available on launch day with the PS4 on November 15 for North America and November 29 for Europe. Jumping in on next-gen on the first day? Or are you going to wait it out to play it safe? Let us know in the comments below.

SDCC 2012: Resident Evil 6 Leon gameplay

New Resident Evil 6 gameplay showed up today. Coming from this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the video shows Leon and his new partner Helena going against the traditional zombies. Leon's campaign is more up my alley since it brings back the atmosphere of past Resident Evil games.

I'm slowly getting pulled in by the hype of Resident Evil 6. While I was completely turned off by how it felt too fast-paced and more on the action side, the fact that they have Leon's campaign bringing back the survival horror feel, it looks like Capcom is trying to cover all avenues with Resident Evil 6. A lot love the new direction with Resident Evil 4 and 5 being more of an action adventure, but there are fans that also wish Resident Evil would go back to their roots. With Resident Evil 6 having three campaigns, each having their own feel and protagonist is a good touch.

The Resident Evil 6 demo is out for Xbox 360 who owns a copy of Dragon's Dogma. The demo has one mission for each campaign in the game.

Resident Evil 6 is out on October 2 on Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. The Game will be out for PC but a date for it's release has not been given.

New Far Cry 3 video showing new gameplay

Far Cry 3 After the release of a new trailer for Far Cry 3, more gameplay footage shows up. The video is around 5 minutes long and gives you an idea on what a normal mission would look like. You know, you against tons of psycho's, a bit of rappelling, and more shooting right after.

While the new trailer got me all hyped for the third installment, this gameplay video leaves me confused on whats new to the table when it releases this year. But from the looks of it, the core concept in Far Cry 3 seems to be just like the last game, an open world sandbox setting. The game has some fancy stealth mechanic and a leveling system that makes me curious on what you get to improve on.

My only hope is that as you head from mission to mission, going through the world won't come out as a bore. I wasn't pleased with how the second one turned out, but the setting and antagonist of the game gives me hope that this is a game worth any gamer's attention.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City half hour gameplay video

Yesterday the internet graced us with 40 minutes of Skyrim gameplay, now we have Capcom releasing new footage for us to enjoy, a half hour-long gameplay video of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWyNU7jgobA&feature=player_embedded]

I know what your thinking, shooting and running at the same time in a Resident Evil game? yea doesn't make any sense. It's also a 4 player co-op game, so it's clearly a Resident Evil game we have not seen.

Regardless of the unusual gameplay for Raccoon City, It's concept on the other hand is pretty interesting. Players will play as a squad sent by umbrella to clean up the mess thats happening in Raccoon City, Its pretty much Resident Evil 2 all over again but in another perspective.

Not only do you clean up the mess by killing zombies, lurkers and other iconic baddies in Resident Evil, your also faced against military soldiers sent by the government, tasked to figure out whats going on, at the same time Leon S. Kennedy is also an enemy in this game as he and Claire try to survive just like in Resident Evil 2. It's a free for all fight as you can see in the video, and with that concept, I really don't see the stop shoot gameplay working here.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is set for a release at the end of this year for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, no actual date given.
