Dataminer site gamstat (via resetera), who watches what gets added to the PlayStation Store, leaked our first look at Resident Evil 3’s cover photo.

Eurogamer’s sources confirm these images are official.

It’s just the cover art, but it shows us Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira’s new design as well as everybody’s favorite biological weapon that doesn’t seem to stop chasing you - Nemesis.

The rumor of Resident Evil 3 being given the remake treatment by Capcom after the major success of Resident Evil 2’s remake have been swirling for awhile now, and recently resurfaced as we get closer to this year’s Game Awards, which is rumored to be where Capcom will make the big reveal.

It’s rumored for a 2020 release date alongside Capcom’s 4-player co-op Resident Evil game called Resident Evil Resistance.

This is still a leak, so of course we suggest you take this with a grain of salt until it becomes official. The Game Awards is happening on December 13, so If the rumors are true, you can expect Capcom to make some announcements very soon.
