Genshin Impact's Next Character Is Hu Tao, Coming This Week
/ Carlos HernandezGenshin Impact developer MiKoYo have announced that Hu Tao will be the next playable character joining the game’s ever-growing roster. The community was aware of the character’s existence due to several leaks, rumors, and dataminers finding details in the 1.3 update and has finally confirmed her existence this week.
This marks as the final character banner releasing during the game’s 1.3 update. Hu Tao, who apparently is a director of the Wasngsheng Funeral Parlor, is a 5-star pyro polearm user, and her character banner will be accompanied by 4-star characters Xingiu, Xiangling, and Chongyun.
Once the banner goes live, it also comes with a new “Trial Run” event, which allows players who doesn’t have any of the featured characters to try them out.
