The reaction for the first trailer of the live-action film Sonic the Hedgehog is a clear sign that the game is still adored by millions of fans around the world, which is why Sega has announced a 2020 campaign to show their dedication to the franchise this year.

Now, Sega didn’t go into detail as to what kind of announcements we can expect each month, but it makes sense to see a strong marketing push this year since the live-action movie is coming out in cinemas this February and that the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise will be on it’s 30th anniversary in 2021.
