PlayStation Plus August 2025 Monthly Games Features Lies of P, Dayz, and My Hero Academia
/Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for August 2025, and it’s a decent offering. Starting August 5, subscribers will get access to the soulslike Lifes of P, Dayz, and My Hero One’s Justice 2
PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for August 2025
Available Starting August 5
Lies of P (PS4/PS5)
Dayz (PS4)
My Hero One’s Justice (PS4)
Lies of P is a solid soulslike if you’re still in an Elden Ring high. You’ll be challenged by the many bosses available, and it features an interesting world inspired by the classic tale of Pinocchio. Dayz may be old, but it remains to have some lasting appeal and is one of the prime games that started the survival shooter subgenre.
What’s the Difference Between Monthly Games and the Game Catalog?
It can still be confusing, especially after getting an update on Monthly Games, then an update on the Game Catalog. So, here’s the breakdown:
Monthly Games are available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers (Essential, Extra, and Premium). Once you claim them, they’re yours to keep in your library for as long as you remain subscribed — there’s no expiration date.
The Game Catalog (and Classic Catalog) is only available to Extra and Premium subscribers. These libraries offer a rotating selection of games, which can be played while they’re available. However, unlike Monthly Games, titles in the catalog can leave the service, meaning you lose access even if you’re still subscribed.
There’s still time to claim the July 2025 Monthly Games, which features the base version of Diablo IV, KOF XV, and Jusant. These games currently on offer will remain available to claim for your acount until August 4.
For those wondering about the latest additions to the higher tiers of PlayStation Plus, the following games were added to the Game and Classic catalog in July 2025.
