I don't know how many of you all out there are sportsball fans, but it seems that those sportsball fans who were in attendance at the February 10 NBA match between the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs got a glimpse of one of the coolest pieces of God of War's marketing campaign.

As Sony's marketing for this game escalates in the weeks leading to God of War's April 20 release date, it's going to be tough to top this promo. Instead of the typical halftime show, a 3D projection of God of War footage was displayed from the jumbotron and onto the hardwood floor of the court.

The footage included a dramatic scene between Kratos and his son Atreus, followed by some cool action set pieces. We're not sure whether this is the first time a sporting location has served as an exclusive venue for upcoming game footage, but it's pretty cool nonetheless. Halftime shows aren't typically broadcast, so only those in attendance got to see it.

That is, until the Golden State Warriors posted a video which documented the spectacle on their own YouTube channel, which you can now see here.
