Sony announced that the 2018 exclusive God of War will now be heading to PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store on January 14, 2022.

The follow up to 2018’s God of War from Santa Monica Studios has been delayed to 2022 and it looks like it will also be available on the PS4 as well.

At a fireside chat for GameLab Live, Shawn Layden suggested a return to shorter, 12 to 15 hour, AAA games. not justso he can finish more games, but as a means to reduce the spiraling costs of AAA game development.

The moving nature of God of War’s storytelling is fairly well known by now, but it also retains the hyperviolent character of its predecessors while relinquishing their perversity and tackiness.

There’s also an additional level of gear to craft, ‘Perfect,’ and certain enemies will behave differently in combat. Yeah, have fun with harder Valkyries and all that.

Santa Monica Studio has successfully evolved the series without sacrificing the elements that have kept the God of War titles so beloved by so many, even after a long drought.

The team said on Twitter that the update "focuses on text for map, goals, codex and the resources tab of the UI menus." But unfortunately, the impact of the slider is marginal at best.
