Blizzard is dropping the “2” from Overwatch while launching five new heroes, sub-roles, a story arc, and a faction-based meta event next week.

Blizzard have confirmed that once the multiplayer portion of Overwatch 2 goes live it will replace the original game, making players unable to play the original game after its October launch.

Blizzard Entertainment is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary this February, and to start the celebration Blizzard is selling a series of in-game packs for the developer’s long line of known titles: World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Diablo 3, StarCraft 2, StarCraft:Remastered, and Heroes of the Storm.

It’s that time of the year again for Overwatch as this year’s annual Halloween Terror event is now live on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. You have from October 14 to November 4 to earn all the new cosmetics and succeed in the new challenges added to the game.

Overwatch’s next in-game event, the Lunar New Year 2020, is celebrating the Year of the Rat with new cosmetic skins to unlock, weekly challenges, and a new arcade game mode just for the celebration. The event is live and will run until February 6.

Just a few weeks in Blizzard's Public Test Realm, Moira, the new support healer, is now available for all Overwatch players. The update also includes a few changes. 

Moira will be the 26th character for Overwatch and will hit PTS for testing soon.
