Night City Wire Event For Cyberpunk 2077 Moved To June 25

CD Projekt Red announced that they have decided to move their Cyberpunk 2077 stream event from June 11 to June 25, 2020 to give support to the important discussions occurring in the United States at this moment. The developers made the announcement via Twitter.
We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.

The event was originally planned for June 11 and is a stream event to give us new information on the RPG Cyberpunk 2077 slated for a September 17, 2020 release for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. New gameplay footage is expected to be shown at the stream event and the developers plan to give the public an idea on their plans on DLC, which was mentioned before that it will be just as much as The Witcher 3. .
This isn’t the first time this month that an event was cancelled in order to not distract the conversation on matters of racism and intolerance. Sony planned a PS5 game showcase this week but decided to delay the event but have not given the new date for the livestream.
