Dead Stranding Release Date Revealed

Kojima Productions’ big reveal not only debuted a new trailer and tons of actual gameplay footage of Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding we finally get the PS4 exclusive’s release date - November 8, 2019. Rather closer than expected for a game I don’t understand at all so far.

It’s a rather meaty trailer, featuring the key characters of the game and how you’ll traverse through the land. Combat was shown with a little chase at the start, and ends with Norman Reedus’ character finally fighting back.

Also, It seems that they use what they call a “Bridge Baby” to connect to the other side, which in turn allows them to sense these invisible creatures called a BT? There’s also a part where it seems that you are connected to the events of World War I? I’m lose. I still don’t know what’s going on but it’s definitely intriguing to say the least.

Preorders for Death Stranding was briefly revealed in Taiwan’s PSN store, giving us a hint at the game’s release date before the big reveal with a synopsis giving more details about the game.

“Sam Bridges must brave a world transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the remnants of our future in his hands, he embarks on a journey to reunite the shattered world,”  it reads.

On release in the Philippines, the standard copy of Death Stranding will have a standard retail price of PHP 2,999, while the Special Edition — that comes with a steelbook case — will have a standard retail price of PHP 3,899.

There is a Collector’s Edition available that comes with a BB Pod Statue, a Ldens keychain, and a BRIDGES Cargo Case, but no price was given at this moment.

What the hell is the Death Stranding? The attempt to understand Death Stranding begins in November.
