Assassin's Creed Creator Has A New Game, And It's Out In August

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, is a third-person survival game from Patrice Désilets, the creator of the ever-famous Assassin’s Creed, and it’s coming to PC on August 27, with a PS4 and Xbox release in December.
In Ancestors, you play as the hominid species set millions of years ago. You survive alongside your clan, learn skills, and as you progress, you eventually evolve into a Australopithecus, the longest-lived early human species.
"Our small team is creating an ambitious and immersive game with a unique setting that will captivate gamers of all types, and we look forward to players exploring our world later this year." says Désilets in a statement.
No surprise here — the PC version of Ancestors will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store during its first year of release. This is Panache Digital’s first game as a studio led by Désilets as Creative Director and will be published by Private Division, which is actually an independent games label run by Take-Two Interactive (Grand Theft Auto).
This is definitely out of the box and will be interesting to see how expansive the survival part of the game will be when it launches on PC this August.

I really enjoyed the time that I spent with Kirby Air Riders. But from what I’ve seen in the global test ride, plus in the Nintendo Directs, I can’t justify the $70 price tag, as I’d probably only play it for 12-15 hours before moving on to more interesting titles.
