Death Stranding Is Coming to PC Game Pass Next Week

Hideo Kojima’s latest title Death Stranding is coming to PC Game Pass on August 23, 2022. Subscribers to PC Game Pass will have access to the original PC port of the game, not the director’s cut that released recently.

In a post from Xbox, This version of the game on Game Pass “features ultrawide mode, photo mode, high frame rate, and cross-over content from some of the well-known franchises”. This version will also feature these in-game items which can be unlocked as you progress through the story.

• Chiral Gold / Omnireflector “Ludens Mask” Sunglasses (Color Variant)

• Gold and Silver Power Skeleton

• Gold and Silver All-Terrain Skeleton

• Gold and Silver Armor Plate

The official twitter page for PC Game Pass have been teasing the idea of Death Stranding being available in the service, so it happening was likely. The surprise is that it will be available as early as next week, August 23.

Death Stranding originally launched on the PlayStation 4 back in 2019, then it eventually launched on PC a year later. Kojima Productions later released a director’s cut adding new content plus visual and performance improvements of the game.

There’s no word if Death Stranding will become available to Xbox players in the future, but at this point it wouldn’t be surprising that it eventually becomes available in the future.
