The free-to-play Monster Hunter-like co-op game Dauntless is launching a big update this week and it’s called Scorched Earth.

The update brings a series of additions and changes to the game. This update is pretty much Blaze season as Blaze Escalation gets added as well as a new island volcano which is home to the new behemoth called Torgadoro, a gorilla-like creature made of lava. It is also said that this will be the first behemoth that will use the environment to its advantage, so watch out for that this week.

The Scorched Earth update also includes new legendary schematics for crafting as well as a new Hunt Pass called Searing Talons, which is filled with new cosmetic rewards for players.

Dauntless’ Scorched Earth update goes live on March 19. The Free-to-play online monster hunting game is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and the Nintendo Switch, complete with cross-play.
