Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia announced that players can try out JRPG Tales of Arise from August 18, 2021. The demo will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

The demo is designed to give you a good idea of how the game plays once it becomes available this September. Players will experience battle tutorials, camping, cooking, skits, a few side quests, and even encounter a boss fight.

Bandai Namco didn’t specify if the content available in the demo is in the early parts of the full game or somewhere down the middle. And if you’re hoping any progress you make in the demo will carry over to the full game, the game’s Twitter account confirms that it won’t.

Tales of Arise is the 17th title for the Tales Of series and was originally planned for a 2020 release but was delayed indefinitely last year as they needed more time to work on the project and the current state of the world provided extra challenges as they worked on the game remotely.

But the game is back on track and those eager to play the JRPG can try it out next week to get a clear picture of what they are getting into before it’s September 10 release.
