Grand Theft Auto V's second trailer

GTA V Rockstar just released a second trailer for Grand Theft Auto V. Finally more footage since I'm sure everybody is with me when I say "it's about freakin time!". Check the trailer below.

You can check out the first trailer over at Rockstar's official site, just in case you missed it. GTA V is expected for a spring 2013 release.

DmC demo hits PSN and Xbox Live next week

Can't wait to check out the reboot to Devil May Cry? Well the demo comes out next week on PSN and Xbox 360 so you should look out for that. To be exact, the demo will be out on November 20 for US and 21 for EU.

The demo will contain two missions, and one of them will be a boss fight. A couple of difficulty modes will be included, as well as some weapon upgrades for us to experience, and some sort of secret during the demo. I wonder what that means.

Still a bit skeptical with Ninja Theory in charge of the Devil May Cry reboot, so I'm definitely going to look out for this demo next week. I'm really crossing my fingers hoping that the gameplay will feel like past Devil May Cry games, and if it does in the end, then they can change Dante as much as they want.

DmC is still next year, or rather, a few months away. It comes out on January 15, 2013 on Playstation 3 , and Xbox 360.

Together with the news of the demo, Capcom added more info on the Vergil DLC that was announced recently. Yes, its free for those who pre-ordered the game, but it won't be released on 'day one'. For the people who don't want to pre-order but plan on getting it after, it will cost you $8.99/720 MSP.

DmC DLC lets you play as Vergil

Capcom is at it again with their DLC's. Since Vergil was revealed to appear in the upcoming reboot of Devil May Cry, everybody has been asking Ninja Theory if he will be a playable character. Now this shows up. You actually do get a chance to play as Vergil, but its pre-order DLC. Oh Capcom.

Hours of gameplay?? Man I sure hope so. If it only provides an hour or two of Vergil gameplay, that's going to be disappointing. But I got to say, the Vergil gameplay seems to be in check.

I never liked how Capcom applies their DLC. Gamers anticipating this game that are big fans of Vergil are in a position to either pre-order the game, or cash out more money in order to play the character. Just another attempt from Capcom to take advantage of a beloved franchise. Hopefully I'm wrong on this one, but I have a big feeling that the DLC will actually be included in the disc on launch and downloading the code to unlock the DLC content will be required. Capcom has done this before with Street Fighter X Tekken. DLC characters were found on the disc at game launch and was already fixed and playable. All you need to do was purchase the DLC in order to download the code to unlock the characters (Which was released weeks after).

As shown at the end of the video, the pre-order is for Gamespot (US) and EB Games (Canada). Still no word if DmC will get any pre-order treatment here in the Philippines that will include this DLC, but it's too soon to tell since this game is still a few months away. If it won't be available on release, then the only way to get Vergil's Downfall is to purchase it when it comes out on PSN or Xbox Live.

Ninja Theory's DmC is planned for a January 15 2013 release on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's amazing cinematic trailer

Remember Final Fantasy XIV? the MMORPG Final Fantasy game that pretty much went downhill right when it started? Well, Square gave it a complete overhaul bearing a new title Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. A jaw-dropping cinematic trailer was just released by Square Enix making me wish this was just another Final Fantasy title instead of an MMORPG. The trailer's 6 minutes long, check it out below.

Thanks to the negative reaction it received on its first release, Square Enix decided to not give up on the project and plan to relaunch the game under a new set of developers. With a new game engine, redesigned UI and game maps, a new server system, pretty much a complete make-over, Square Enix hopes that this re-do of Final Fantasy XIV would please fans of the series since they too were not happy on the quality of the game the first time.

Will this relaunch save this title? Can't say much yet, but one thing's for sure, Square Enix can never disappoint with game cinematics.

A Realm Reborn is currently on its Alpha testing and the relaunch of the MMO will come sometime next year 2013. The long awaited PS3 version of the online game will also be released alongside the PC version.

Where's the latest footage of the single player campaign? I have no clue. It appears that Santa Monica Studios want to focuses on show casing the multiplayer aspect of the game first before anything else. God of War having multiplayer just doesn't make much sense, and I'm sure we have a lot of questions about it, which is why I believe they went on with advertising this first  before revealing any more info about the single player' campaign.

We can't say Sony haven't shown any single player content though. A gameplay demo was revealed at this year's E3 and while it was not as impressive as the God of War 3 demo in the past, it's good to see Kratos back in action spilling blood all over the place.

I still have my doubts, some games just don't need multiplayer, and God of War is one of them.

God of War: Ascension comes out next year March 12, 2013 exclusively on the Playstation 3.
