Ghost of Yotei Adds New Game Plus in November 24 Update
/An upcoming patch for the open-world game Ghost of Yotei is releasing on November 24 and will add New Game Plus, Sucker Punch and Sony announced in a blog post.
How Does New Game Plus Work in Ghost of Yotei?
New Game Plus unlocks once you finish the main story. It also adds a new difficulty setting plus two new trophies for completionists.
In your second playthrough, a new currency called Ghost Flowers becomes available, and players can exchange them with a new vendor to unlock over 30 cosmetics, including new armor sets, weapon dyes, and 10 new charms for more loadout variety.
New Game Plus also brings an additional upgrade tier for both armor sets and weapons.
The upcoming patch isn’t all about New Game Plus update. It also adds the ability to replay content in the post-game after finishing the story. You’ll also find a new stats display, new accessibility options such as directional button remapping, and expanded Photo Mode features like shutter speed controls, a composition grid, and more.
I had a blast with Ghost of Yotei. My only real gripe is that it leans a little too heavily on familiar ground, as there’s no major shift between the first game and Yotei.
