Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City First Details And Teaser

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City was recently announced official by Capcom and it is currently in development for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It is co-developed by Slant-Six Games the former developer for SOCOM and is scheduled for release this Winter 2011.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City delivers a true third person team based shooter experience set within the dark and sinister Resident Evil universe and a reinterpretation of the events depicted in Resident Evil® 2 and Resident Evil® 3. The setting of the Resident Evil universe not only provides a rich backdrop to the action but delivers a unique and thrilling triple threat battle. Zombies and Bio-Organic Weapons (B.O.W’s) add to the mix as players not only compete against an opposing squad but also tackle this third unpredictable element, creating a brand new style of gameplay and breaking the conventions of traditional team based shooters.

It is September 1998 and the action centers once more on the ill-fated Raccoon City and the horrific consequences of the deadly T-virus outbreak from the Umbrella facility. With a cover up required, Umbrella orders an elite team into Raccoon City to destroy all evidence of the outbreak and eliminate any survivors. Hearing of this plan, the US Government dispatches its own special forces to uncover any evidence that exposes the cause of the viral infection and Umbrella’s actions. Players take on the role of an Umbrella Security Services soldier (U.S.S.), competing alone or in four player co-op in a battle against all the competing forces at play in Raccoon City.

Expect the return of original Resident Evil enemies, iconic landmarks such as the Raccoon City Police Department and fan favorite characters, including Leon S. Kennedy, who as a rookie police officer in Raccoon City is on your hit list to eliminate. Players will experience a retelling of classic moments from past titles Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 and watch the events unfolding from the menacing perspective of the Umbrella Security Service, giving fans the chance to rewrite the history of the Raccoon City outbreak. New Battlefield 3 gameplay trailer

Electronic Arts just released a 3rd gameplay trailer called "Get That Wire Cut". Again, this looks amazing for any FPS junkie but what i really want to see is large scale battles with land and air vehicles. isn't that what Battlefield is all about?

Trine 2 gameplay trailer

Have a peek at Trine 2's gameplay footage and be amazed on how beautiful the game looks. Me and my buddies had a blast with Trine's creative co-op gameplay. It was fun testing each others trust among one another in the first and i can't wait to do it all over again with the sequel.

If you haven't tried Trine you should get it and I suggest you find a buddy or two to play with. This game is meant to be played as a co-op and you'll be missing a lot of you don't.

Trine 2 has no release date yet but is aiming for a 2011 release. The game will be out for Xbox Live Arcade, PC and PSN.

The creator of QWOP brings you GIRP!

Remember QWOP?  That ridiculously frustrating yet addictive disgrace to mankind of a game seeped through the internet and made you want to throw your keyboard across the room in frustration? Well the guy who made it has a new game for you.

The new game is called GIRP. This time you control a rock climber instead of the track and field runner from QWOP. You press either the left mouse click, the CTRL or SHIFT key on your keyboard to shimmy yourself up  and use the letters on the key board to hold onto the grips on the rock wall. Imagine playing Twister on your keyboard while yelling out swear words and having people stare at you for being too damn loud.

"Damn you QWOP!"

Just like QWOP, its simple in concept but the controls are just maddening at the same time. And yet you still want to retry over and over and over again. Does that make us masochists?
