Trials of Mana Remake Heading To Mobile Devices This July, Echoes of Mana Also Announced

Square Enix is currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Mana series and during the celebratory digital livestream event that occurred in Japan on June 27, Square revealed that the Trials of Mana remake will be coming to mobile devices on July 15 and that a new free-to-play game called Echoes of Mana will be coming to mobiles sometime in 2022.

The Trials of Mana remake was released on consoles and PC last year and has done pretty well so far as it has surpassed the 1 million units shopped mark and it being available to mobile devices could reach more players in July. Due to it being a mobile version, a few unique features were added in this version of the game, such as revamped touch controls, customizable graphics settings and cloud save options.

Square Enix also mentioned that players will get in-game gear that will boost the wielder’s amount of experience you gained in battle and a piece of gear that increases the amount of lucre gained in battle. Both items will only give you a boost until level 17.

Echoes of Mana is a fresh entry in the series and is a free-to-play action RPG title for mobile devices and is being developed by WFS, Inc. According to Square Enix, Echoes of Mana features “an original story that weaves together both new and beloved Mana series characters alike. Players will be able to enjoy the action gameplay they love from the series, and battle with friends through a multiplayer mode.”

Echoes of Mana is slated for a 2022 release.

The Trials of Mana remake is currently available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. If you’re new to the series or interested to see how the remake plays yourself, there’s a free demo available on all platforms.
