Tales of Symphonia Remastered Announced, Coming Early 2023

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the classic JRPG Tales of Syphonia will be getting the full HD remastered treatment and will be released sometime in early 2023, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox one. The remaster was also revealed during the Nintendo Direct broadcast that happened this September.

Tales of Symphonia is a classic title from the Tales Of series that was released back in 2003 and sold over 2.7 million units worldwide. The remastered version of the JRPG brings the same experience to modern consoles.

Here’s a quick description from Bandai Namco on the type of improved quality you can expect from the  Tales of Symphonia Remastered .

Improved graphics and playability

In addition to improved graphics, this title has added an event skip function, improved some specifications such as the date notification on the save screen, and improved playability. Other updates include frame rate stabilization during battles, and improved sea movement performance when operating ships.

For the Nintendo Switch version of Tales of Symphonia Remastered, the game’s screen resolution wil be set to 1280 x 720 when the console is not docked.

Bandai plans to share more details about this version of the game as we get closer to the game’s launch.
