Battlefield 2042 Season 1 Zero Hour Launches This Week
DICE have finally revealed the first season for Battlefield 2042 and it launches this week, June 9. Titled Zero Hour, this major update features a new specialist, map, weapons, and the game’s first battle pass with 100 tiers of rewards.

It seems DICE and EA can’t catch a break as a petition in change.org, asking people to sign if they want a refund for Battlefield 2042, has reached over 100,000 signatures. According to the petition webpage, this petition will be one of the top signed on Change.org.

DICE has finally released an update on what to expect from Battlefield 2042 in the near future as they list down what features are coming soon plus an update on the game’s first season, which is now delayed to Summer.

In a few weeks we’ll be in 2022. A new year already packed with highly anticipated games in just it’s first quarter. But as we count the remaining days of this year, we look back at what was released this year. Some games blew us away, but there were a good amount of games that just didn’t make the cut as these are the most disappointing games of 2021.
There’s a problem with Battlefield 2042’s hit registration
If you wondered why sometimes your bullets in Battlefield 2042 don’t exactly hit your target when it clearly does in your screen, it’s because the game is currently suffering from an inconsistent hit registration issue. When firing any gun, it seems this bug occurs more often when you’re in a crowded area with so many things happening, and a content creator perfectly demonstrates the issue in his video.

The amount of bugs, issues, lack of basic features, and disappointing level design in Battlefield 2042 has made me conclude that DICE and EA just released the worst Battlefield game I’ve ever played.

Battlefield 2042’s Hazard Zone is not a battle royale
DICE has revealed Hazard Zone, the third big game mode for their highly anticipated online shooter Battlefield 2042, which is set to launch this November. Many were pointing that this game mode could be another take on the battle royale formula but leans more towards games like Hunt: Showdown and even Escape from Tarkov.
Battlefield 2042 - it’s okay if DICE delays this one
Battlefield 2042’s open beta occurred last weekend and I was able to spend a few hours with the game on both the PC and PS5. With just one map, I was able to get a good idea of what to expect from DICE’s next entry in the Battlefield series, but once I was done with it I was left worried and wouldn’t mind if they need to delay the game further to get things right.
Battlefield 2042 open beta confirmed, starts on October 6
Battlefield 2042 open beta begins on October 6 for those that preordered the game and is an EA Play member. The beta will then be available to all players from various platforms starting on October 8 and will run until October 9, 2021.
Battlefield 2042 delayed to November
EA and DICE today announced that Battlefield 2042 will be delayed from it’s previously planned release date of October 22 to November 19. The delay is four weeks and the extra time will help with polishing the game.
Battlefield 2042 Will Not Feature A Single Player Campaign
EA and DICE have lifted the curtains on Battlefield 2042 and will be the first time a Battlefield game will not feature a full-length campaign as all efforts were spent in creating three distinct online multiplayer experiences.
