Serious Sam Siberian Mayhem announced, coming out in a few weeks

Publisher Devolver Digital and developers Croteam and Timelock Studio have announced that they are releasing a standalone expansion called Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem. It will be released on PC via Steam on January 26.

It’s a sudden announcement with a release date just a couple of weeks away. Based on the expansion’s Steam page, it’s packed to provide the same amount of crazy as players manage hordes of enemies across five levels in the “heart of Russia”. These levels will take players to different locales from the “Arctic coastlines and desolate forests to abandoned villages and chilling ghost town”.

Based on the description and the trailer above, the expansion seems designed to bring more of the same fast-paced FPS shooter experience the Serious Sam series is known for. The standalone expansion will also have side-missions, a new feature only added in Serious Sam 4, which was released back in 2020.

If you haven’t dived into the insane world of Serious Sam 4, the game is currently 60% off on Steam until January 15. Siberian Mayhem is also 10% cheaper right now, a little incentive if you wish to buy the standalone expansion before it’s January 26 release.
