Rumble Royale Streamers Have Raised Over 100,000 Pesos For Taal Volcano Victims

On January 12, 2020, the Philippines’ Taal Volcano erupted and locals close to the area where affected, displacing many out of their homes. It’s a difficult situation that’s still ongoing as another eruption is imminent. To lend some support, Rumble Royale, a gaming community in the Philippines, is currently holding Full Support! a Charity Stream event for the Taal Volcano eruption victims.

Three days into the event, they’ve surpassed their goal of PHP 100,000.

Full Support is a Facebook streaming event where Rumble Royale talents livestream from January 20 - 26 and all donations (through Facebook Stars, the platforms monetize feature) during the event go directly to Philippine General Hospital, which will then forward the proceeds towards helping those affected by Taal Volcano’s eruption last week.

On the last day of the charity event (January 26), Rumble Royale will host a community day at the Esports Center, Eastwood Mall. This is where anyone willing to provide non-monetary donations to the Taal Volcano victims.

Those willing to help out are encouraged to donate the following items:

• Feeding bottles

• Wipes

• Diapers

• Blankets

• Clothes

• Slippers / Footwear

• Rice, ready-to-eat and non-perishable food

• Medical supplies (N95 masks, rubbing alcohol)

Aside from donating to those affected, those who partake in the event will get a chance to play various games with Rumble Royale streamers.
