Rumor: PC Version of Grand Theft Auto VI is Slated for a Q1 2027 Release
According to report from GamesBeat, the PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI is slated for a Q1 2027 release.
This report is based on “four industry sources familiar with the studio’s plans.” Rockstar Games has yet to comment on whether they are indeed aiming for a PC release within 2027’s first three months.
Grand Theft Auto V released on consoles first, but was eventually released on PC roughly a year and a half later. Red Dead Redemption 2, their last title, got a PC port a year after its initial release.
With how big the GTA V community has become on PC to this day, it’s not a big surprise if Rockstar plans to release the PC version sooner rather than later. But consoles still dominate, so priority still goes to PlayStation and Xbox.
Grand Theft Auto VI is due out for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.

The amount of effort seen here gives me hope for Capcom’s future attempts at reviving classic titles, as Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the latest title of the once dormant classic franchise, comes back in the best way possible as it very well might be my game of the year contender.
