Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the free PS4 games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in October 2020 will be Focus Home Interactive’s Vampyr and and EA’s Need for Speed: Payback. Both games will be available starting October 6 until November 2.
Vampyr was released back in 2018 and you play as doctor Jonathan E. Reid that was turned into a vampire during the 1900s. Set in London, this third-person action RPG let’s you roam the open streets to either satisfy your vampiric needs or use your newfound powers to make a difference. It’s all up to you and is a decent pick up considering October is known to be a spooky month.
The second game, Need for: Payback, is a 2017 title that is also an open world game but still an arcade racer at heart. The game has three playable characters, each with their own set of skills to take on the narrative filled with over-the-top set pieces that make you think you’re watching another Fast and the Furious movie.
There’s still days until these two games are available to PS Plus subscribers, which means you still have time to pick up September’s free PS4 games, which are Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds and Street Fighter V.
