Control: Ultimate Edition is the complete package for Remedy Entertainment’s sci-fi action adventure as this version comes with The Foundation and AWE expansions. This free offer is available for both PS4 and PS5 owners, so if you haven’t explored the oldest house as the Director, you get to do that this February as this game was a treat to play coupled with a crazy narrative.
Concrete Genie is an action adventure game released in 2019 for the PS4 with features supporting PlayStation VR. Created by the developers from Pixelopus (Entwinded), players control Ash, who has the ability to conjure magical genie through the graffiti he creates.
Last but not least, your PS5 free game offer in February is Destruction AllStars, a competitive race combat sports event that “pits drivers against one another in an intense competition,”, according to Sony. AllStars was originally meant to release together with the launch of the PS5 back in November but was delayed in October by Sony. Destruction AllStars will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers for two months starting in February through the service.
If you haven’t claimed copies of the January free games such as Maneater (PS5), Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PS4), and Greedfall (PS4), then you have until February 1 to do so.
So far, I’ve been loving my new console. It truly feels like a generational leap from the original Switch, even if its core concept remains the same. This may be simply an iterative, straightforward improvement over the original system, but I guess the thinking is that as the saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
