PC Game Pass now officially out in the Philippines

It finally happened, Microsoft’s PC Game Pass is now officially available in select Southeast Asia countries. It leaves the preview state and is now offering new subscribers with a $1 (P50) for their first three months. After that, it will cost you just P119 a month.

PC Game Pass coming to the Philippines was announced at the end of March and Microsoft provided a preview for those interested in testing the service before it goes official. It was pretty easy to set up but it should be easier now as all you need is a Microsoft and Xbox account, then subscribe to the service for an insanely cheap price using local payment options such as credit card or Paypal. Then, you can start downloading and playing whatever game is on offer.

For those unfamiliar, PC Game Pass is a subscription service from Microsoft that allows subscribers access to hundreds of games to download and play for as long as they are subscribed. Their console counterpart, Xbox Game Pass, is still unavailable in Southeast Asia for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S users.

The library can be overwhelming, so here’s a few suggestions on what to try out first when you subscribe.

  • Age of Empires 4

  • Halo Infinite campaign

  • Back 4 Blood

  • Sea of Thieves

  • Octopath Traveler

  • Mass Effect Legendary Edition

  • Life is Strange: True Colors
