Horizon Forbidden West Gameplay Will Debut In This Week's State Of Play

Sony has announced that the next State of Play virtual event will go live this week and will focus on Guerilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West, giving us our first real look at gameplay.
Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to the PS4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn, is all we are going to see in the next State of Play and you can watch it on PlayStation’s Twitch or Youtube channels and should go live on May 28, 2021 5 AM GMT +8 / May 27, 2021 5 PM EST.
Forbidden West was announced last year during the June PS5 Showcase and it’s expected to launch later this year. In case you missed how they revealed the sequel, you can check out the trailer below.
Aloy has yet another long journey ahead of her as it is said that the world they are building for the sequel will me much larger compared to the first game, and that exploration will be expanded as well as new machines to encounter and tribes to interact with.
The Horizon Forbidden West focused State of Play will feature at least 14-minutes of gameplay during the 20-minute long presentation on Friday.
If you haven’t tried the first game, I highly suggest you give it a whirl as it’s a solid and creative open world game set in the 31st century, in a world where modern humanity has fallen and animal-like robots rule most of the land.
Sony has said that this won’t be a PS5 only title as Horizon Forbidden West will also be available on the PS4.
Lost Soul Aside has been delayed from May 30 to August 29, 2025, as UltiZero Games takes more time to polish the action-adventure title.
