Guerrilla Games reveals Horizon Hunters Gathering, a three-player co-op action game with hero-based combat, playtests planned, and PS5 and PC release.

Lego Horizon Adventures transforms the serious world of Horizon Zero Dawn into a playful experience geared towards younger gamers. With a lighter story, fun character twists, and familiar machines recreated in Lego form, it serves as a charming introduction to Aloy’s universe. While hardcore fans may find it a bit basic, it’s ideal for friendly, family-oriented play with loved ones of any age.

During the September 25 State of Play broadcast, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered coming to the PS5. The same game but with improved graphical fidelity and animation to make the first game look almost similar to the quality seen in its sequel Horizon Forbidden West.

Those subscribed to PlayStation Plus will be displeased to know that one of PlayStation’s best first-party titles, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, is leaving the subscription service on May 21, 2024. 

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, a package that compiles the original game and the recently released DLC called Burning Shores, and is coming to the PS5 on October 6 and on PC in early 2024.

The Burning Shores DLC is an epilogue add-on that’s filled with rich content that felt completed, as opposed to, say, a jumble of leftover parts. Though it only adds just a little more context to the base game’s conclusion, it’s still worth taking the ride if you want more of Horizon Forbidden West.

It looks like Sony is not done bringing more remakes/remasters to the PlayStation 5 as it was reported that a Horizon Zero Dawn remake/remaster and a multiplayer game of the series is currently in development.

While Horizon Forbidden West doesn’t break the mold of the action-adventure open-world genre, it further enriches its blend of entertaining combat within a unique world that still stands out among other post-apocalyptic offerings. They might not have stuck the landing very well, but that wasn’t enough to completely stain the complete experience.

Pre-orders for Horizon Forbidden West went live today and details of each edition of the game was revealed. It also confirmed that PlayStation will not offer a separate PS5 upgrade if you choose to buy the PS4 version first. The only option at the moment is purchasing the Digital Deluxe edition or the collector’s edition, a more expensive package compared to the standard and special editions.

Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn is officially delayed until February 18, 2022. Sony made the announcement through an official blog post and also confirming that the sequel will be available on the PS4.
