Elden Ring has gone gold

From Software’s latest action RPG Elden Ring has officially gone gold, which means that core development of the game is now complete and mass production of the game has begun to prepare for it’s official launch next month. The studio announced this during a presentation video for Taipei Game Show 2022.

“The master version has already been submitted, and right now, the team is working on a day one patch to make sure everything in the game is just so.” says From Software’s Yasuhiro Kitao during the Elden Ring presentation which you can watch below.

During the presentation Kitao mentioned the game’s length as he said that the “main route should be able to be completed within around 30 hours”, this is of course not accounting to the side content and the amount of death you’ll experience when going through the game.

Elden Ring is the latest game from From Software and based on the gameplay released so far, it’s a massive open world game with the essence of Dark Souls gameplay. It will also feature Dark Souls multiplayer where players can invade a player’s game as either a foe or an ally.

Elden Ring will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 25, 2022.
